Un Día en la Life

Un Día en la Life is a surreal, absurd experience that blends humor with nostalgia. Using PS1-style low poly graphics and ridiculous mechanics—like minigames to avoid falling off the bus or trying not to puke after eating too much carne asada—this game celebrates the weirdest (and best) parts of Latin life.

Explore scenes that feel like a bad dream (or just real life) and embrace the absurdity in the everyday. Inspired by our good days, our bad days, and those days that are just... days.

Created for the LAGS game jam, the current version of Un Día en la Life showcases random days in the life of Latin American migrants, transforming real cultural moments into short, comedic minigames. Players move through two key scenes:

• The Bus Ride – Don’t fall. Keep your balance. Tap a button to avoid public humiliation.

• The Taquería – Order the meatiest dish and try not to vomit from how fast you're eating. Simple, dumb, and way too relatable.

NOTE: everything is intentional, even the bug that wont let you eat the second stake :D. Lol, enjoy the experience :P

This is a tribute to the beauty and absurdity of migration, identity, and those awkward moments we all carry.
